Artist's Comments
I started three drawings the last weeks and all wasn't that fun to draw, so I thought the reason could be the medium. I need a new color pencil drawing. And it was the best to do, I had so much fun drawing this!
The only thing I'm not really happy are the hands, I sucks at drawing hands! I searched for a picture and find one of Kipi and decided to use it as reference for my second entry to A3 dorée drawing paper Polychromos color pencils Copic marker ballpoint pens white gel marker WIP [link] EDIT: Link to the reference picture [link] Commentswow look wonderful, LOVE the sunglasses look greaat.
-- I think shes having hysterics. Maybe you should slap her. Alice Cullen, New Moon, Chapter 22, p.486 ------ my stock account:[link] Hm.. well I can't really give full critique, but I think the hand on the left, the fingers are bent in a strange way (I know you noticed a problem with the hands already), if you try and bend your finger like that you will see it's different.. it's not exactly a smooth curve like that it's 3 parts and the top curves up the most, I say bend your finger up and you'll see what I mean.
Also I think considering how much detail you put into your work you should put more details on the eyes, it's almost as if she has no eyelashes, also there is no tear duct, I think the details would help it just looks like a perfect shap I don't think it should be quite like that. But otherwise the picture is wonderfull, I am a huge fan of your work, keeps it up you're doing so well! (and you know that -- Meow Well, since you requested critique...
The hands, as you mentioned, look off. They're far too small for her body's proportions. Try to widen them next time, and make them bigger in size. The fingers are also off. The fingers are bending a tad bit too much, such as the middle finger on her (right?) hand. It's bending far too much, it dosen't look like it has any bone structure. The same for the left hand's middle finger, as it bends in the same way as right's. The yes, I don't have very of a problem with. I just think the right eye looks a tad bit out of line with the left. The mouth seems a bit out of proportion too. I don't know how to quite explain it... You could try to put the mouth a little bit more up, not too much, just a little. Her face looks a bit too skinny to hold her facial features. Try to widen it a little bit the next time. As for the neck... I think that the head is bending a little bit much... Oh how to explain it, my grammar really sucks! Other than that, I really like how you captured the female anatomy, I really like the perspective you used, and her posture. I also like the way you did the hair, how it flows. You're very talented, keep it up! It came out AMAZING!!! -- Nuts don't go in my hole...>w> Oh please. You look like a hemophiliac's attempt at forming a scab. ...I have art in my gallery, you know that, right? Thank you
I add a link to the reference ( I always forget to do -- Love, Marion Join the =PortraitPencilArt club Thanks, I add a link to the reference, so you can see how the photo looks like.
